SVGC Sunday Couples Event
A new 18-hole social event was held the first time on Sunday afternoon, 7 June, using 4-person teams in a cha-cha-cha format. For this first, informal and experimental, event, tee times were limited to 8 foursomes. In the future, more tee times will be available to accommodate many more players. Judging by the success of the first event, this should become a popular outing.

First place, with a score of 116, was the team of Wendy & Chuck Addicott, Jean & Bill Georg. Second place, with a score of 117, was the team of Nina Davis, George Fowler, Don Houtchens, and Sharon McLeod. And, third place, with a score of 120, went to the team of Karen & Ron Prior, and Evie & Ron Marquardt.

The next Sunday couples event will be held after noon on 5 July. Future dates planned are 30 August and 20 September. Any couples or singles interested in playing should call the Pro Shop to sign up.
